an empty space

  Wondering when will my patience for this space run out. No promises but still trying to keep it real and alive here. The first half the 2019 was rounded up by some travels, some dancing, a little dating,  and a lot of free time. The next time some one asks me what am i busy with, I would really wanna pride myself with the answer: NOTHING MUCH.











So I last left off with my wanderlust to South Korea. Let me fill you in with how I kept myself busy (This is an evident skill of mine since 96' haha). In February through March, I was in a frenzy kpop- cover- video- making. You can check it out here HAH LynetteDance KPOP Covers . Then, I did some concept/ choreography videos LynetteDance choreographys and finished it off with a KPOP group cover with my fellow instructors BLACKPINK- Kill This Love. In summary, just a lot of dance covers, video shoots, concept videos. HAHA

Picked up GYM as a recreational activity, thanks to HZ for coaching. I have been on this journey for 2 months and .... (i fell sick this week so i'm really praying for a faster recovery to return to the GYM!!) As I'm (almost) constantly travelling, and whats travelling without feasting right!! My weight has been fluctuating like a roller coaster. I would gain some fats from overeating then run and gym away those fats. Not a very healthy lifestyle (I know) but at least I'm enjoying my life and exercising :b




In May, went for a dance trip to San Diego, United States. Got to learn from many amazing dancers from crazy crews like choreo cookies, kinjaz.. This was my second time going to the States for dance and every single time it still feels like a dream come true and how I wish that I could stay there for the whole year. Went to Building Block and took private classes with Selene and Amor. Had 5 sessions in total and yes ouch my wallet but definitely learnt a lot and saw improvement in my dance! Also forged meaningful friendships with the dancers and dance community in San Diego, feeling the love! It was a life of dreams, shopping and sight seeing followed by dancing at night. Well San Diego is all about that laid- back beach life. Also visited Los Angeles during the weekends, palm trees and fast foods, you name it you got it. Did I mention how crazy it is that US has the nicest asian food HAHA. From Pho to Korean cuisines OMG. Just not the bubbletea :b
























































In June, I lost a close friend and was in a bad state as I reflect about how fragile life really is. How no amount of preparation could ever prepare me for such a loss. It's been slightly more than a month and I still miss him dearly.. After visiting him numerous times, I find my words to be repeating around finding peace, hoping for him to be free of suffering and pain, and everyone around him to get stronger again. It was an emotionally challenging period as I was also in the midst of preparing for South Park Jam Showcase. Honestly, there were so many instances where I just felt like giving up in the process. Thankfully, it went well.




In July, another wanderlust to shopping paradise Bangkok with my fav sister. A short 5 days turned 6 days trip because epic us missed our flight and spent another $400++ to buy a new flight. Yes for another story to tell but nope, not cool. Indulged in the traditions, night markets and local food which was EXTREMELY FAVOURABLE to my taste and liking ;)





































Celebrated my 23rd birthday too, WAPIANG DAMN OLD ALR. TIME IS MERCILESS (!)(!)!!!!!




Also sent my class, MACHATOS for pulse kpop comp and managed to clinch 2nd for the junior category. 


Lastly, I'm currently looking for a jobb yes. So if you happen to know of any jobs in the Admin/ Human Resource sector or Early Childhood Interventionist/ Speech Therapist please let me know HAHA

 It's crazy that time just keeps passing. I realise that we don't really share that much memories together and when I keep replaying and replaying, the recorder runs through very quickly. There's only so 'much' experiences that we shared together. We were together for almost 3 months... and now we're separated for almost the duration of us being together. 现在的我快不快乐

These few days have been having really bad insomnia, lika now.. and the medicines i already took twice the dosage doesnt work :( Monday: Ronnie's hiphop beg, mega love his style and groove and just rockin' the basics. Tuesday: clarice's lyrical jazz beg and gin's hiphop intermediate. There is a reason why i stir away from contemporary/ lyrical jazz for quite awhile despite being crazily passionate just months ago... To be honest, it's due to me leaving Indancity. From being an almost untrained contemp dancer, steppng out of my comfort zone and pushing myself hard every class, how each time my body just cant get used to the intensity of the class but i told myself only through pain i will grow, till i can comfortaby do double pirouettes, fall down in a routine, and keep trying till i get it no matter how dumb i may look at the start, i told myself i just have to try double, triple the effort and i wouldnt be that far away too.
