Sec One Orientation 2012

HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY LAOPO CHAN SHIQI! <3

Date: 6th January 2012.

Don't fret about the mistaks of yesterday, learn from them and hope for a brighter tomorrow! all it takes is a small baby step in the right direction to change your course . For one, i am rooting for all of you!
Sec one orientation is finally over!



It had really been an experience for me, as an assistant chairperson of the secondary one orientation this 4 days. Especially the last day, the night show where i was the IC.

Day one and two was just playing of games. Day 2 had show preparation, first time holding microphone speaking to the whole level controlling! After school had dance society orientation performance! :) Day 3 was amazing race. Went with YiPeng's group, from 1E1! We got 18 sparks good job, won all the games except for one!

Also, had dance audition in the afternoon, i didn't do well i guess. Had a scolding from ms li, it was really bad and immediately after i had to show my dance. And after dance run down to continue getting bombed. Well, i cried. I really did put the sec one orientation as my priority. I'm having this one min solo dance but i didn't even go and practice it. It was worst, but thanks jia jie for the encouragement when he said this, are you okay? we all need you.
I wiped my tears and know this is not the time to be a coward, i need to take charge. Ran to the ISH and started working.


Last day, both jiajie and ziyang (ICs & 2nd IC) respectively, were on sick leave. I was freaking stressed out in the morning and i had to take 2 diagnostic tests, e math and ss which i was totally not prepared at all. Spent the whole night the day before doing proposal for the next day due to the constant changes... and by i time i could settle down and read a page or two, i fell asleep. Yea, i gave up during the test, i just let it be blanks and slept through the paper. I know i'll fail the test, but it's alright, i'll work much harder for the next test! After recess left class to proceed for the ISH decoration, all the manpower was in a mess. I was so not used to no one being there for me to ask, how, can a not? I have to be the one saying yes do it now. it was really in a mess.
And everytime i saw zhi lin's face, i can't take it. He gave me the face that, he is so disappointed in me, which is a fact...
So glad ziyang and jiajie came in the evening. Rushed with all the preparation, a long slacking time as nothing to do. The night show was very very chaotic, although they told me it was alright, i found it extremely out of control...

Anyways, here is the student leaders performance choreograph-ed by me! :)


The day ended around 10, took bus home with derrick, haikal and calvin :D
The two people i wish to thank most is ziyang and anthony. Zi Yang for always supporting me and helping me sort things out when things are in a mess. And anthony, for supporting me too as a head facilitator, helping to to get things going on the facilitator side! Also, all my HLC excos. Without you guys it'll be so difficult! My facils, logistics, programmers and publicity. Everything is really impossible without any of you. Each of you made an impact and difference! Thank you for your commitment to the secondary one orientation 2012!

 It's crazy that time just keeps passing. I realise that we don't really share that much memories together and when I keep replaying and replaying, the recorder runs through very quickly. 现在的我快不快乐

These few days have been having really bad insomnia, lika now.. and the medicines i already took twice the dosage doesnt work :( Monday: Ronnie's hiphop beg, mega love his style and groove and just rockin' the basics. Tuesday: clarice's lyrical jazz beg and gin's hiphop intermediate. There is a reason why i stir away from contemporary/ lyrical jazz for quite awhile despite being crazily passionate just months ago... To be honest, it's due to me leaving Indancity. From being an almost untrained contemp dancer, steppng out of my comfort zone and pushing myself hard every class, how each time my body just cant get used to the intensity of the class but i told myself only through pain i will grow, till i can comfortaby do double pirouettes, fall down in a routine, and keep trying till i get it no matter how dumb i may look at the start, i told myself i just have to try double, triple the effort and i wouldnt be that far away too.
