Phuket, PhiPhi Island, Krabi
It was the first time that I had to take a bus from the boarding gate to the actual plane itself. For a moment when we enter the gate and saw a bus, I thought we were going to take a bus to thailand itself!
Before I begin, I would like to lodge a negative review about JunAir Travels located at Chinatown. Seriously, went down a week ago to confirm all my flight stuffs and everything seems fine. Took the 930am plane and arrived at Phuket at local time 1030 (the flight is 2 hours but their timezone is one hour earlier) and didn't see anyhow from See Toh Agency picking us up from the arrival gate. Waited for an hour. Called the agency and said that they waited JunAir to confirm the email and booking for very long but they didn't. Hence, they cancelled all the pickup and hotel reservations. WTH, you have no idea how pissed we were because we didn't bring much extra cash as we already paid for all the accommodation to the agency in Singapore. So we called the agencies again and again like 10 times, waited and waited. Finally, they arranged a driver to pick us up, calling it a last minute booking and we only left the airport at 2 plus?! Hanged out at a cafe around the airport all the while as I was angry and panicky as both sides didn't give us an affirm answer and I was thinking my holiday is gonna be ruined before it even started.
As a result, we wasted one morning and our tour planned was shortened too.
Very little traffic light
Some observations I noted on the van from the airport to the hotel:
Their petrol station, car shops generally much bigger or does it look more spacious cause they have a lot of land,
Home pro , huge factories, sims house look alike. Even their 7 eleven is triple or four times the size of Singapore's no joke .
A lot of travel agencies on the road. Think they live off by tourism revenue. People here live in old run down houses wearing super casual clothes like those we would only wear at home. To the left I see a whole land of Undeveloped land and to the right I see trees planted at intervals.
I get to see mountains. That misty cone shape from afar that you only see overseas because even though singapore has mountain, U never really get to see such a big stretch of empty sky without colliding with a skyscraper first.
I think it's on the car on the road that you get to experience a country's culture. (I am quite disturbed by these many wires hanging in the air spoiling the view)
Stopped by a shop where they sell local food products to tourists like us.
I went elephant trekking!! This was one of the activities that I was really looking forward to. Thanks to mummy who endured the smelly elephants so that I could ride! The elephant trainer with me was hilarious and kept calling me piao liang and helping me take a lot of photos while I'm on the elephant. The other trainers saw me and also whistled at me and I felt embarrassed >< This was also the start of the tipping session, theres a reason for them helping you to take so many photos!
Felt a bit cruel to sit and step on them but it turns out that they're 500kg?! and have very thick skin so even the trainer had to use a hammer to nudge them. I was still trying to sayang Jumbo even though I doubt it can feel anything!
(ME: WAIT WAIT I WANNA TAKE A PHOTO WITH THIS POSE. NICE??
TRAINER: (GIVES A DUBIOUS LOOK, I DON'T KNOW) HAHAHA
Bought a necklace to support elephant Jumbo and the other elephants because they eat and drink a lot a day!
Went for the most expensive real gun shooting ever because it lasted only for 5 minutes, 10 bullets. Chose this over the ATV because I think this was much cooler! I scored 78 points?? xD
(Yes, I had to tip the guy just to take this photo for me with the rifle too)
Went back to our hotel away and dined at a nearby restaurant! There's like many many shop houses of bars here omg.
I really love their fruits here, fresh and cheap. And I have been buying and eating a lot of these for the next few days!
Oh yes, COCONUTS. The coconut satisfies your thirst in this weather.
DINNER TIMEE!
Soon enough, it was dawn time already. Off to watch the lady boys show which we squeezed into oru schedule last minute because I really think this is one of the attractions of thailand.
Introduction music at Simon cabaret. I realised how beautiful a trumpet sounds. The elongated notes that joins together with complete perfection without any gap in between, just as it fades and promptly aptly the next note comes.
TOOK PHOTO WITH MY IDOL (The blue one, but they were standing together so yea I had to take with both ><). :b I kept noticing him on the stage because he danced and performed well. And also, I prefer looking at guy-guys than ladyboys haha!
The Simon cabaret was a really really good and eye opening experience. The demons made me feel a little out of place and uncomfortable but seeing how hard they're trying to really be a girl I don't know how to feel. I feel like I should acknowledge them cause some of them are really pretty, have good figure and they work hard to fit in. The happiest part was when I saw guys coming on the stage like yes legit guys hahah. Because guy performers really attract me so ... Whenever there was their act I'll keep looking at them. The performance was quite hilarious and exciting as the girls came down to kiss the guys on the first row and I'm sitting there too. Got me worrying a little as they may mistake me as a guy in my short guy but luckily consequently 3 of them identified me as a girl. Photo taking session, really required some courage for me to go to the guy and ask for a photo. He's a confident and I think he shone the stage tonight. Thank you for the kiss :) it was an amazing night that I kept touching my cheek and blushing. (HAHA, such a loser I know)
Went to spa oriental for a 2 hour full body massage, from the legs to the back, shoulder, arms and head. The people were very professional and you could opt for light, normal or strong strength. I fell asleep approaching the back. My mom's a fanatic fan of massage and even though not as big a fan, I do get to enjoy a bit :)

Phi phi island.
We were taking a better Au nang sea angel luxury cruise. Kinda disappointed as it felt like the seats in a plane. Was expected the pulau Ubin kind of small yatch but able to catch some sea breeze. Made me think how sitting in the luxury definitely isn't fun at all. I would prefer less luxury and more experience. The boat ride was 1 hr 45 mins. The boats were really interesting, w variety of patterns and shapes, complexity that I've never seen in Singapore before.
The real beauty only starts after you go up to the second level of the cruise.
The sun, the border less sea, the random splashes of water on your face, yet comforting with the warmth of the sun. I saw my skin glistening with the water droplets under the sun. The wind was very strong that I couldn't open my eyes fully. It's really comforting and relaxing to just watch the wave dance. Sometimes they look like monsters rising from the sea because the waves here are never regular cause they don't break on a breakwater. But yea I get the longshore drift and stuff they all seem to be moving to a common destination. Time alone was really good. Silenced by the loud currents, you can't really hear the excitement of others. Just you and your piece of sea, water and sun. I feel like I can never get enough shots of the sea. It's so so beautiful that I'm ... Speechless. Sometimes it looks blue, sometimes it looks green.its so big, we humans are so small. The wind hitting against me felt like the best massage . One must really experience this with a calm state of mind, to feel it's beauty. If you read my blog and come here looking for the same experience, trust me you won't find it. Everyone feels differently and that's the beauty too. The sea salt drying up on my face. All the different language, but all we do is to greet each other w a warm smile. The splashing starts to get more vigorous as you taste more saltiness, people are starting to leave but I'm still right in the spot. I love it.
The sea in layers of blue.
Did a little shopping and bought some clothes! I love their casual style and vibrant colours!
Took a cruise then speedboat to Krabi! First time taking a tuktuk in Thailand and it's very breezy and fun!!!

Went to an Indian Thai restaurant for dinner and they served us delicious local food. Ordered pineapple rice and Tom yam soup. Their soup is so good that you really want to finish it. I'm actually a loser at food hunting cause I find all of it taste around the same none is especially nice, but this time I really praise this pineapple rice and Tom yam soup.
Walked around, experienced a view of the night life in krabi, bars with live band, many many and many restaurants and some common fast food outlets like Mac and subway.

Oil massage. It was really intimidating and I felt violated cause it was done naked. It was so ticklish and honestly I prefer the one without oil where they can exert more strength. Went to a 7-eleven to grab some amazingly cheap banana milk (Meiji brand, big bottle only 200 BAHT) and a lot of 1.5l mineral water. Flagged a tuktuk from the road and sent us back to our hotel. The tuktuk was an experience too even though I've taken one is vietnam, where that is cycling, this is a motorbike. They have a lot of small deserted and quiet alleys and it's so dark like the backstreets with no road lamps. Kinda feels like anything will just jump out from the not faraway darkness.
Day 3~
Day 3~
Some pictures of Mountain View hotel, it looks good on the appearance but inside there's no kettle and its hard to communicate with their reception cause they don't speak english.
Journey from mountain view hotel to the rafting camp, small little route with lots of turns and curves. Chose the level 3 rafting instead of the basic one cause there are more mini mountains and sneaky (snake-y) paths instead of just a straight stream down. The camp is so deep inside that I think if we were to hike there (it's really suitable to hike since it's all covered with greenary and there's path to walk), it would take a whole morning or more. Actually closer to PHUKET instead of krabi. Looking at the little streams of water, I'm so excited !! Went for the flying fox first and there was no time to mentally prepare me at all. Just jump ✔️. I do have that slight fear of phobia and while waiting I was wondering why did I chose this instead of the ATV car. But the flight down wasn't as fast as I expected and It was a good first experience :)
briefing and rafting!! The trainers are super fun. It's like the bumper car but bumper boat, bumping into rocks and other floats. Really had a lot of fun as I made friends with a girl called berqis from Singapore and a Malaysian couple. A fish from the river jumped into our float and I was screaming. Then picked up a dead frog that I was arguing that it's a frog but another said it was a stone and getting all hysterical as they threw the dead frog from one float to another. Then the trainer pulled me down and made me off into the river haha. A part that left a deep impression on me was how they'll be expecting tips but how the tips isn't much but they're so happy already. Why not make someone's day?
The best part of Thailand is the fruits. I'm really crazy about fruits And vegetables. I really think singapore youths lack a lot of exposure like everything we see us processed and in a different form already we don't even know its origin and how it's original form looks like. I ate so many fruits here, pineapple, watermelon, manga, mango, fan Shi Liu, coconut. Quite sua ku. I love their wooden swings in the elephant and monkey show camp. It's so classic I remember HS used to have one and I always sit on it during recess. Watched the elephant perform some tricks like dancing, shaking it's butt, basketball and throwing darts. Also watched the intelligent monkeys cycle and walk on ropes.

Dinner was grand and sumptuous Papaya salad. Tom yum soup with shrimp. Red snapper bbq pepper and salt. Phat Thai .
Anywhere they set up a hotel the scenario will be beautiful cause they have so many mountains everywhere. Doesn't even have to charge more for this pretty view.
Day4!FREEE AND EASY
Patong beach to film dance video and take photos. I had real audience too, I saw people holding up their phones taking videos/ of me and the Caucasians applauded for me and said it was beautiful after my dance :)
I feel that something people from other countries, Caucasians, Thailand people taught me is to acknowledge people. So many people there have called me beautiful and the fact that I had an army hairstyle didn't even bother me at all.
