Nette goes to KL!
Hey readers!
Kinda surprised that there's quite high page views YAYY! This shall motivate me to blog more often hehe. Woke up, a lazy day (currently blogging at MIN JIA's house and her z key is spoilt so I have to copy and paste each time I type it so let's pray that not too many words that has z is required LOL)
Took my own sweet time, get dressed. Been watching a lot of makeup tutorials on Youtube recently and other than the so overated Wengie, I found a very nice channel with a very pretty girl: sichenmakeupholic. Each of her makeup really brings out a different feel and make her look like completely different people and I'm in love heh, she's on instagram too! So tried an innocent sweeter look instead because I realised my makeup has been quite heavy.
Took MRT to woodlands and boarded 950 to Woodlands checkpoint. It was 5+pm P E A K H O U R (!) The weather was unbearably hot as well as I engross myself in Word Streak (trying play a more educational game but I'm starting to get bored of it too, Piano tiles totally bore me out).
Some shameless selfies on the bus
Fingerheart! I guess some of you who are not into KPOP may not know this heh.
Took bus 160 to JB Sentral TADA and went shopping at City Square Mall and the Komtar JBCC (i love this mall so much more! There are shops like Bobby Brown, Sephora, Victoria Secrets, Bath and Body Works, Mac, all the makeup brands GAHHH and also die hard ADIDAS FAN HERE YAS). City Square mal highest floor has those shops which sell cool sneakers, shoes, caps, hats and socks. Was contemplating so much to get the HUF cap but I stopped myself :( 67 SGD... very worth it, but I do own quite a few caps already need to slow dow huehue.
TO BEGIN WITH, I EXCHANGE SGD FOR RINGGIT AT 1 : 2.97 SO I DID THE MATH ACCORDING TO THIS RATE :)
Another piece of Adidas shirt into my collection! I always wanted an adidas plain original black and white tee but I never found the right size or they just don't sell it... I guess this is the closest I can get to it!
Price: 33 SGD (It sells at $36.38 at ASOS and it's out of stock, saved $3 but oh wells ADIDAS IS WORTH IT)
I love their relatively new tubular shoes! :( I was this close to getting it but I figured out ordering online might be cheaper given all the free shipping and stuffs... PLS BE MINE SOON ;'( (Now I sound like a shopaholic don't I? HAHA I'm just really into shoes and caps) more than clothes YAS) CLOTHES GIMME MORE BASIC ADIDAS TEES *fingerheart*
BOOST in the regular size for $4?! It was huge enough to be my dinner, my first time drinking boost and didn't know that they have smaller servings.
On a side note, Malaysian policemen are really friendly. They kept saying hi to me and disturbing me LOL. Not really enjoying it because it was clear that I was out of the picture (Can't blend in as a local)
Time for my makeup haul~~~ (guys, being a girl really requires a lot of investments T_T)
1) Mac eyeshadow in the shade of A85, once again gonna attempt a makeup look inspired by sichen!
SGD 22.90
2) Stretch fibre double eyelid tape (the latest technology!) Basically they're better than the two old inventions which are double eyelid stickers which is freaking obvious and some doesn't allow makeup to set on, and double eyelid glue which is quite hard to use and it makes your eyelids stick together so it's quite ugly when you are looking down! KUDOS to japan!
SGD 3.60 from SASA (i haven't really tried using it will keep you guys updated but I'm sure Sg Sasa has it too!)
3) NYX has been my new favourite makeup brand just because of how affordable it is and I love their crayon solid colours.I feel that powder palettes just don't stay on as long..
NYX Simple Pink Crayon Lip Cream (most lip products do have moisturising effects nowadays but I can't really stand oily ones like lip balms hence these chalky thing is a good choice for me!
SGD 9.76
NYX Jumbo (JUMBO IS THE BEST) Eye Pencil in the shade of Gold (color code: 625). These are perfect to create that eye popping look!
SGD 8.08
Wanted to get the NYX Jumbo Eye pencil in the shade of white as well but they ran out of stock. So got a eyeshadow base as a substitute. As the name describes, that's the use of it hahaha. You can also use it to mix with other color palettes and create different shades.
SGD 12.12
NYX Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner. Been needing a felt tip one because the current Benefit Gel liner that I'm using is awesome but it's too thick sometimes to achieve that tight lining and less heavy look! I got one in brown colour too, make up is heavy enough let's go more natural.
SGD 12.79
Sorry I just kept grabbing cause each one cost approx. 10 SGD on average..
Total: $69.26 for like 7 makeup products?! If I bought it in Singapore they'll easily reach $100 I promise.
Still had quite a bit of budget left... Final destination @ H & M! Usually wouldn't buy clothes of the higher price range at H & M because they're like $69.90 but here no matter how I convert, the highest price is just $40.00 HOHOHO.
Here are my hauls, and I didn't get all of them :b
Army jacket for that casual homey look YAS SGD 40.00
HAHA UNRELATED BUT THEIR SHIH LIN CHICKEN CUTLET IS SGD 2.70 as compared to sg's 4.20 guys HAAHAH but I didn't buy lah ;')
Also, I've actually chanced upon some blogs that talks about how SOME Malaysians don't like it when Singaporeans visit to buy their stuffs and take advantage of our stronger currency. Well, easily the arguments back at you is that some of you come to Singapore to work as well and when we purchase in your country, there's a multiplier effect, boosting economy YA KNOW. PEACE OUT I LOVE MY MALAYSIAN FRIENDS AKA WAVEHOUSE CHEFS (fingerhearts)
