Some questions worth pondering about...

1. What is your philosophy in life?
Tomorrow will have it's own worries.
Live today well.

2. What's the one thing you would like to change about yourself?
I would like to have my long hair again.

3. Are you religious or spiritual?
Spiritual definitely.

4. Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert but not a loser for company.

5. Which parent are you closer to and why?
My mom. Because she's very emotional unstable and needs my constant reassurance. She makes effort to come for all my performances as well.

6. What was your best phase in your life?
Kind of like my job now, but I prefer the relationships I had with my friends in Secondary School. So I would say, secondary school.

7. What was the worst phase of your life?
Maybe JC 2. HAHA A Levels sucks it was never meant for me.

8. Is what you're doing now what you always wanted to do growing up?
Not really, I wanted to be an actress when I was a kid (all little girls' dream), decided I wanted to do a dance related career in secondary school and only decided to be a dance instructor after JC. In a way yes, it's all revolving dance.

9. What makes you feel accomplished?
I kind of like the feeling of having a lot of do and setting one day for myself to complete all of it. Also, when I see my students improve and grow they really motivate me because it's a reflection of myself as a teacher.

10.What's your favourite book/ move of all time and why did it speak to you so much?
I'm not really an avid reader but my favourite book has to be the series delirium but lauren oliver. Quite a loser when it comes to romance. If love was a disease.... (squeaks)

For movies, I watch quite a lot of movies but I usually forget them very quickly. Dance subaru, Pitch Perfect 2, Eat Pray Love, Step Up Revolution, Interstellar, 我的少女时代. Deadpool was a really good movie but it's not really my genre hahah. Basically all the dance, romance, musical or philosophical movie always leaves a deep impression on me. However, I love the thrills of watching horror movies as well even though these are really the ones which I forget as soon as I watch. Selective memory I guess xD

11. What is a relationship deal breaker for you?

Guys who don't take initiative at all. I wouldn't mind taking more initiatives at all but you need to do something to let me know that I mean something to you too.

12. Are you more into looks or brains?

A balance of both. Can't imagine a very good looking guy but communicating with him with no depths is unbearable but I can't stand every conversation turning into a debate or a discussion like you need to chill and talk lame shits at times.

13. Would you ever take back someone who cheated?

Never experienced this before but when I hear stories like that from my friends,  I feel furious for them so I would say no. If he cheated, you're worth much better.

14. How do you feel about sharing your password with your partner?

Why not. Password to my social media, to my phones? I don't have any secrets and I don't see it as not trusting when he does that but I feel like it's good that he's curious haha.

15. When do you think a person is ready for marriage?

Financially ready. I wouldn't marry a guy who is not financially ready and I wouldn't marry if I myself need to depend on the guy financially as well. Of course, when you're sure you want to spent the rest of your life with this person. I would prefer dating for at least 3 years before marrying? 

16. What kind of parent do you think you will be?

Overly attached parents. Like how my mom is to me now haha. But I will be the cool mom that is friends with all my child's friends and hold parties, groom them into talented kids and go clubbing with them. I'll be that cool a mom.

17. What would you do if your parents don't like your partner?

I would continue dating him as long as he treats me well.

18. Who is that one person you can talk to about just anything?

19. Do you usually stay friends with your exes?

My first ex, no. My second ex, yes. But I can't do it immediately after the relationship ended, I'll make sure time passes and I'm fully over it before I can be friends again.

20. Have you ever lost someone close to you?

Yes? My first ex he was someone very important to me and we were still close friends after awhile and I wanted to keep him in my life but IDK what happened after that. We both got busy and we both stopped trying. I guess I was always the one that tries harder and I got tired of it that time. And also my secondary school best friend called teddy. I always miss him now and then and we both tried to put in small efforts from time to time but stuffs were just always getting ahead of us.

21. If you are in a bad mood, do you prefer to be left alone or have someone to cheer you up? 

Left alone. I think it's quite hard to cheer someone up through texts but if the person wants to meet up and go and have some fun I would prefer that, instead of dwelling on the same topic which he/she can't do much about it too.

22. What's an ideal weekend for you?

Sleeping in, going anywhere with people that I like, being silly and happy. 

23. What do you think of best friends of the opposite sex?

I like having guy best friends because it's fun when they tell you about their girl and you tell them about your guy but they are still protective over you like you're their sister. It's nice, that feeling.

24. Do you judge a book by its cover? 

I judge books by their covers because there are too many books in the library and something has to catch my eyes first and I pick it up to check it out but nope I don't judge human by their appearance/ first impressions because we do not know their stories and we have no rights to say that way about them as we are not perfect. I always believe that there's a nicer side to everyone that I didn't see.

25. Are you confrontational?

Yes. Especially when I'm accused/ someone important to me is accused.

26. When was the last time you broke someone's heart?

Erm, I think J2? There was this guy that got to know me through a mutual friend and kept... texting me but I'm pretty clear cut on things like this LOL My friends always say that I'm very mean to the guys but I'm just like I don't see the need to talk to you about what i'm doing now, what's for lunch and dinner if I'm not interested in you HAHA

27. Would you relocate for love?

Sengkang to jurong? HAHA. If I date a guy that's not from Singapore and if I can find a job that supports my passion in his country, why not. Sorry my island home ><

28. Did you ever write a journal?

YEA like this, a blog if that counts cause it's not so personal.

29. What are you most thankful for?

My mom, my passion. 

30. Do you believe in second chances?

Yes, one chance is too absolute. You're depriving a lot of possibilities.

31. What's the one thing that people always misunderstood about you? 

I must play basketball since I'm tall. Tall people can't dance, you just watch me WHIP. 

32. What's your idea of a perfect vacation?

Backpacking, adventures, nothing too comfortable and lots of photos. 

33. What did your past relationship teach you?

Compromising is not the way things work. Don't take someone that doesn't want you as much as you want them. I need lots of freedom so don't cling. 

34. What are your thoughts on online dating or tinder?

The swiping is really fun but the talking is meh. (I've tried) Most conversations don't go far for me. I think I doesn't really work for me cause I don't feel very secured talking to a person I've never met before and it's confusing like you have no solid impression of them and everyone's just randomly chatting so after awhile you just quit it and delete it ahahah. But I think it's alright nothing embarrassing as long as it floats your boat. You're just giving love another chance. 

35. When have you felt your biggest adrenaline rush?

I'm quite an active person so adrenaline rush happens on a daily basis.. but probably the moment when I was about to plunge from a sky tower in Taipei, I thought I was going to die no joke.

36. What's on your bucket list this year?

Travel to LA. Get enrolled in NTU. Try more new stuffs.

37. What is the craziest thing you've ever done and would do it again?

Travelling alone (to malaysia only) but I would wanna travel alone again to somewhere further. 

38. If a genie granted you 3 wishes right now, what would you wish for?

1) To get into my desired course in NTU.

2) Better dance skills.

3) To be in a relationship.

39. What's your biggest regret in life?

I have no regrets in my life.
