Right after I got some new cosmetic products, went ahead to experiment today! The saddest thing that happened today was that I dropped my NAKED contouring palette and the blush and highlighter powder just cracked into .. POWDER SOBS. Only the toner is still intact.

Anyway, review on the Fibre Double Eyelid Tape. I have no idea is it just that brand that's bad or just me... I had so much difficulty sticking it taut sufficiently to squeeze the double eyelids out (you really have to do that so that the extra skin forms your double eyelid..)... or is it because of my tapered double eyelids which either keeps eating into the new crease i'm trying to create or just doesn't adjust to the new crease no matter how much I use that stick to poke my eyeballs :(

After 10 tries I finally had some decent parallel double eyelids but when I applied my eye shadow base the fiber just sticks out (what happened to advertisements saying you can apply make up over it...) IT JUST DOESN'T ADHERE ON WHEN MAKEUP IS APPLIED! Am I one of those consumers that fell into an advertiser's schemes now...


Here's a Korean inspired look that I did after referencing from multiple beauty Youtubers. I'm sorry if I still don't look korean because I'm just tanned (ROAR). Koreans are really fair~

Some characteristics of this makeups are:
1) Straight brows (I don't think this is new to you guys)
2) Soft edges, you don't really wanna contour too much as they go for this clean (FAIR SKIN) natural dewy look. Which I'm also unable to achieve as I think I've misplaced my Laneige BB Cushion somewhere and the foundation I used was matte and didn't have much moisture.
(TIP: Go light on the foundation powder because you don't wanna look too matte) But people like me with darker skin tone (as compared to koreans) will have to use the help of the foundation to lighten our skin.
3) Pinkish, Shimmery eye shadow which for this I used the Mac eyeshadow I bought yesterday (you can go read it up on my previous post & my Naked Palette)
4) Rosy cheeks, use more pinky shade for the blush.
5) Pink lips, concentrated on the inside and faded out (you can use your concealer/ foundation to create this faded out effect and use a brighter/ stronger shade of lipstick on your inner lips. I used my NYX Lip cream on my lips and Mac red lipstick on my inner lips.

I keep having this bronze look (I Think it's because of my skin color again)

It's the first time I'm actually experimenting with makeup at home without intending to go out after applying makeup.

Sometimes I think my cheek really looks like a pikachu. Is it true that if you like something/ look at something too much you'll tend to look like it? HAHA!

Jiayous to all the Poly kiddos of my batch (learnt this phrase from someone last time who is in Poly and used to call JC kiddos because we still wear uniform but looks who's still studying now) who are completing their last few papers before graduation now! The reason for my title is that I have the feelz tonight to go DOOMZI but I'm still having a post-alcohol trauma ... And doomzi being fully sober is just tiring and I'm sure I would wanna go home to sleep as soon as I reach there HAHA. Well.. borrow a favourite line from Min Jia: 'not fated lah hor'.
